If there is one single piece of equipment in our repro department that has proved to be our soundest investment, it is our hi-resolution Drum Scanner. Even in these days of cheap flat-bed scanners, digital cameras and CD-ROMs, our device is still kept busy, providing high quality images for many of our customers.

Equally at home handling transparancies or prints up to A4 size, our Screen Drum Scanner can handle full colour artwork as well as lineart.

It can even scan previously printed material to a very high quality, and, using its special descreen function, we can remove any ugly moiré patterns that can occur.

But having such a high-tech piece of equipment isn't the end of the story.

Our scanner operator has a sound knowledge of colour, based on over thirty years experience in the repro industry. It is this experience that enables him to get the very best results for your scans, using the various colour correction techniques available in Adobe Photoshop (see also Image Editing under the DESIGN section).

Once scanned, your images can be supplied back to you on disc or CD, or we place them straight into your layout pages to replace your positional scans.
